PUC plans live Web cast of wireless conference

PIERRE, S.D. – A live audio Web cast of the Connecting South Dakota: Wireless Technology conference will be accessible from the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission's Web site on Sept. 18. Listeners may connect with the Web cast at www.puc.sd.gov.

The day-long conference is scheduled to begin around 8 a.m. (CDT), Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the Sioux Falls Convention Center in Sioux Falls, S.D. Among the more than 200 attendees expected are representatives of telecommunications companies; city, county, state and federal government offices; schools and universities; law enforcement agencies and service organizations. Steve Largent, president and CEO of CTIA-The Wireless Association, will deliver the keynote luncheon address.
