The complainant alleges that her phone services were switched without her authorization and she received bills from Excel for unauthorized charges. The complainant is requesting compensation for the harassment.

U S WEST Communications has filed for approval of Revisions to its Exchange and Network Services Tariff. The change is made to increase the Federal Lifeline Program benefit by $.85. This increase is the result of the FCC's order dated May 31, 2000, in which they increased the monthly credit from $5.25 to $6.10. The change becomes effective July 1, 2000.
