ADDENDUM TO THE AGENDA OF THE COMMISSION MEETING

1. EL98-011 IN THE MATTER OF THE FILING BY TURNER-HUTCHINSON ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC. FOR APPROVAL OF EXCEPTION TO SERVICE ON ASSIGNED AREAS BETWEEN TURNER-HUTCHINSON ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC. AND LINCOLN-UNION ELECTRIC COMPANY. (Staff Analyst: Martin Bettmann. Staff Attorney: Camron Hoseck.)

On May 26, 1998, the Commission received a request from Turner-Hutchinson Electric Cooperative, Inc. (THEC) for approval of an Exception to Service on Assigned Areas signed by both THEC and Lincoln- Union Electric Company (LUEC). Under the proposed agreement, THEC consents that LUEC may extend facilities into THEC's territory to provide electric service to the trailer house owned by Mrs. Lorrie Dunkelberger of Hurley, SD.

TODAY, shall the Commission approve the Exception to Service on Assigned Areas between THEC and LUEC?

2. EL98-016 IN THE MATTER OF THE FILING BY LINCOLN-UNION ELECTRIC COMPANY AND MIDAMERICAN ENERGY COMPANY FOR APPROVAL OF EXCEPTION TO SERVICE ON ASSIGNED AREAS. (Staff Analyst: Martin Bettmann. Legal Intern: Ethan Meaney.)

On June 19, 1998, the Commission received a request from Lincoln-Union Electric Company (LUEC) for approval of an Exception to Service on Assigned Areas signed by both LUEC and Mid-American Energy (Mid-American). Under the proposed agreement, LUEC consents that Mid-American may extend facilities into the service area of LUEC to provide electric service for an irrigation service requested by Mr. Harley Kats of Rock Valley, IA.

TODAY, shall the Commission approve the Exception to Service on Assigned Areas between LUEC and Mid-American?
