South Dakota Public Utilities Commission and North Dakota Public Service Commission to jointly hold public forums on cell phone coverage in Eureka, SD & Ashley, ND

The South Dakota PUC and North Dakota PSC will be holding two joint public forums on Wednesday, July 7, 2004 to discuss cellular-wireless service coverage in the Eureka area of northern South Dakota and the Ashley area of southern North Dakota. Commissioners Bob Sahr, Jim Burg and Gary Hanson, as well as North Dakota Commissioners Tony Clark, Susan Wefald and Kevin Cramer are expected to be in attendance.

The date, time and location of the forums are as follows:

Wednesday, July 7, 2004

3:00 PM (CDT) Northwest GF Mutual Insurance Company 705 - 8th Street Eureka, SD

7:00 PM (CDT) City Hall Council Chambers 113 - 1st Avenue NW Ashley, ND

The forums will enable both the North and South Dakota Commissions to gather information regarding the availability of wireless coverage in this service area. These forums will also be an opportunity for attendees to learn more about various cell phone issues.
