PIPELINE SAFETY

PS12-002     In the Matter of the Filing by Commission Pipeline Safety Staff for Approval of a Penalty for a Pipeline Safety Violation by Northern States Power Company dba Xcel Energy

On March 23, 2012, the Pipeline Safety Staff requested a $750.00 penalty be assessed against Northern States Power Company dba Xcel Energy due to noncompliance regarding results of a Drug and Alcohol Plan inspection conducted on December 12-14 and 21, 2011, and March 2 and 5-7, 2012. The inspection revealed a violation of 49 CFR §199.105(c). Specifically, Xcel Energy excluded DOT covered gas only employees from random annual drug testing.

TC12-029 - In the Matter of the Filing by Liberty-Bell Telecom, LLC dba DISH Network Phone & Internet for Approval of Revisions to its Intrastate Switched Access Tariff No. 1

On March 26, 2012, the Commission received a filing from Liberty-Bell Telecom, LLC dba DISH Network Phone & Internet (DP&I) for approval of revisions to its Access Services Tariff No. 1. This filing makes revisions to reflect the addition of language for the implementation of the intercarrier compensation regime for certain VoIP-PSTN traffic as mandated in the Federal Communications Commission's Report and Order in WC Docket No. 10-90, et al., FCC No. 11-161. DP&I also makes minor amendments to its provision of switched access services and certain definitions. DP&I request an effective date of April 27, 2012.
