April 15-16, 2015 – Sioux Falls, S.D., South Dakota/North Dakota Pipeline Safety Operator Training, Ramkota Conference Center
Presenters will examine a variety of issues including new federal regulations, corrosion, DIMP, incident command plans and conducting drills. This event is a great opportunity for pipeline operators from South Dakota and North Dakota to exchange ideas, share best practices and get the latest information related to the safe operation of pipelines. The agenda also allows plenty of time for interaction with pipeline industry vendors during the Exhibitor Showcase and at the vendor-hosted hospitality session. There is a $70 fee to attend the training that covers print materials, lunch and refreshments both days. Pre-registration and payment by April 1, 2015, is required.

The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission hosted this forum to examine the impacts, implications and other issues of the EPA’s proposed plan to reduce carbon emissions from existing power plants.
