NOTE:  Docket participants who wish to join this meeting by conference call should contact the Commission at 605-773-3201 by 5:00 p.m. CDT on Thursday, May 12, 2022, to reserve a phone line. Lines are limited and assigned on a first come, first served basis, subject to possible reassignment to accommodate persons who must appear in a proceeding. Ultimately, if you wish to participate in docket discussion at the Commission Meeting and a line is not available, you may have to appear in person.

AGENDA OF AD HOC COMMISSION MEETING

Telecommunications

1.      TC21-124    In the Matter of the Approval of the Petition for Arbitration of an Interconnection Agreement Between Midcontinent Communications and James Valley Cooperative Telephone Company (Staff Analyst: Brittany Mehlhaff; Staff Attorney: Kristen Edwards)

         On December 6, 2021, Midcontinent Communications (Midcontinent) filed a Petition for Arbitration of an Interconnection Agreement Between Midcontinent and James Valley Cooperative Telephone Company (James Valley). On January 6, 2022, the Commission issued an Order Bifurcating Issue. On March 18, 2022, the Commission issued an Order ruling on the bifurcated issue. On March 31, 2022, the Commission set a procedural schedule and assessed a filing fee. Following the procedural schedule, on May 5, 2022, Midcontinent filed a Motion to Compel. On May 6, 2022, Midcontinent filed a Motion to Strike.

        TODAY, how shall the Commission rule on the motions? OR how shall the Commission proceed?
